Obituary of Anthony Fulton
Live music has lost its biggest fan with the unexpected passing of Tony Fulton, AKA Tony Smith (Fourtwenty), loving husband of Debbie, at their home in Moncton, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Born October 7, 1959, in Saint John, Tony was a son of Dorothy and the late Bill Fulton.
Tony and Debbie’s music community was a big part of their life together, and they spent time at many music festivals with friends, who were as important as family to him. Nothing took the place of the love of his life, Debbie, and his daughters and grandchildren, who were the apples of his eye.
In addition to his mom, Dorothy, and his wife, Debbie, Tony will be remembered by his daughters, Jessica Carmichael (Chris) and Summer Duchesneau; cherished grandchildren: Will, Alicia, Penelope, and Stella; sisters, Dawn Olsen (Bernard) and Lori Savoie (Paul); his rescued feline friends, Andy and Evelyn; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and his beloved music community in the Maritimes.
The family would like to thank their community for their show of support, love, and generosity through this unexpected and most difficult time.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), where visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 12 to 2 pm, at which time the service will begin in Brenan’s Chapel with a reception to follow in Brenan’s Reception Centre. Those unable to attend the service can watch the Livestream by clicking on the link on Tony’s obituary to register. For those who wish, remembrances to CA-R-MA Cat Rescue Maritimes would be appreciated by the family.
