Obituary of Ann Marie Dean

It is with an appreciation for a life well lived that we announce Ann Marie (Moore) Dean, wife of Gary Dean, passed away quietly on January 23rd, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.  Born on January 20, 1940, in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ida (Gregory) Moore.

Ann, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 after a remarkable life filled with love and strength. Ann's greatest joy was her family, who meant the world to her, and she was known for her unyielding kindness and generosity. A talented crafter, Ann loved to create, finding joy in every project she undertook. She had a flair for style, always a princess at heart who adored her bling. Ann and her devoted husband of 66 years, Gary, shared many cherished moments, including their love for watching the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs. The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Elm House nurses and staff, whose exceptional care and compassion made her final days comfortable. Ann's strength, grace, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Gary; daughter, Trish Robichaud (Etienne); grand children: Mark, Paul, Cody, Sam and David; great grand children: Addison, Graham, Alayna, Layton, Olivia and Jackson; siblings: Phil Moore (Sharon), Dawn Carr (Jackie) and Bev Wilkins (Peter), along with several nieces and nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her daughter Sharon and her sisters Frances and Sharon.
