Obituary of Arthur David Middleton

Surrounded by his loving family the death of A. "David" Middleton Sr. of Carter’s Point, husband of Donna (Wellman) Middleton, occurred on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB he was a son of the late Norman and Grace (Stephens) Middleton. He was employed with the Toronto Transit Commission until his retirement, life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 69 with many years of loyal service also a member of the Masonic Lodge Carleton Union #8. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons: Richard (Karen) of Sydney, NS, Arthur Jr. (Monik) of Whitby, ON and Darren (Jessica) of Pickering, ON; two sisters: Norma Ainsworth (George) of Colbourne, ON and Faye Gorham (Frank) of Hardings Point, NB; granchildren: Michael, Ethan, Natalia, Sabrina, Nathan, Chuck and Bradley; great grandson: Austin; many neices and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one sister: Lois Smith. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (634-7425) with visiting on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Church of the Resurrection, Grand Bay/ Westfield. Interment to take place in Hardings Point Loyalist Cemetery. There will be a RCL Tribute Service on Monday at 7 pm and a Masonic Lodge Service on Monday at 7:30 pm. For those who wish remembrances to the Church of the Resurrection or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
