Obituary of Anne Elizabeth Morrison

The death of Anne Morrison, beloved wife of the late James Morrison occurred peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Kennebec Manor. Born on January 14, 1920 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Doris Hodgin. Prior to her retirement, Anne worked in the retail industry. She enjoyed making silk floral arrangements and loved to knit. Anne was a loyal Toronto Blue Jays fan and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Anne is survived by her daughter, Carol Ryan (Bill) of Saint John; brother, Sammy Hodgin of Sussex; precious great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jamey Clark and their father, Bill Clark all of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Anne was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Beth Clark; sisters, Hazel, Myrtle and Bernice; as well as brothers, Ernie, Charlie and Leonard. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Shrine Club - Transportation Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
