Obituary of John Archibald deLery MacDonald

John Macdonald passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on March 31, 1930 in Montreal, QC. John was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 69. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1951-1971. The armed forces provided him with the training he needed to pursue his career in accounting which he did for many years. John is survived by his wife Sharon Memory, his step-daughters: Christine (Art) Cannon, and Candace (Chris) Galbraith, step-sons: Scott (Lynn) Memory, Ian (Elizabeth) Harwood MacDonald, Steven (Darlene) Elliot, his daughter Kathleen (Jack) Howland and several grandchildren. John was predeceased by his daughter Kim, two brothers: Alain and Richard, two sisters: Mary and Elizabeth and parents Alain and Frances. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) where visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12 from 2-4 and 6-8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 13 at 12:10 from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
