Obituary of Harold Byno Coy

It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected death of Harold Coy (Sonny), at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 6, 2016. He was born in Sheffield, NB on June 13, 1943. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Myrna; his son Jeff (Lisa) of Grand Bay-Westfield and daughter Jennifer Graves of Quispamsis; two grandchildren Devon and Madison (the love of our lives); two special furry friends Cricket and Sophie whom he loved; four sisters Marie Swan, Marilyn Calder (Allan), Jeannie Theriault, all of Grand Bay-Westfield, Marion Robertson (Donald), of Quispamsis; one very special brother Rob Hoben (Pam) of Grand Bay-Westfield; and several nieces and nephews. Sonny loved hunting and snowmobiling and he played hockey for many years. He retired from Irving Pulp and Paper in 1999. Keeping with Sonny’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd., Saint John West, NB (634-7425).
