Obituary of Pauline Mary Mazerolle

The death of Pauline Mazerolle of Saint John, beloved wife of the late Gerry Mazerolle occurred on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born on January 24, 1927 in Collette, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Gaudet. Prior to her retirement, Pauline was employed at Centracare, a job she truly enjoyed and where many friendships were made. She also enjoyed her time spent volunteering with the West Side Food Bank and was a loyal Montreal Canadiens fan. Pauline is survived by her children, Theresa Lyon (Ken), Ronald (Deborah), Irene Lyon (Don), Deborah Alexander (Leon), Norman (Judy Donegan), David, Nora Craft (Gordon), Robert (Janis) all of Saint John and Donald (Kerrie Ettinger) of Ontario; daughter-in-law, Elaine Mazerolle of Saint John; siblings, Tom Gaudet (Ida) of Collette, Claudia Boucher of Saint John and Joe Gaudet (Eve) of British Columbia; sister-in-law, Aline Gaudet of Saint John; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Irene (passed in 1951); son, Tommy and many siblings. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 3:00 -7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Rose of Lima Church, 541 Milford Road, West Saint John on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
