Obituary of Hilda Murrie Jansen

The peaceful passing of Hilda Jansen, wife of the late Hendric George Jansen, occurred on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born September 27, 1929 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Murray and Ethel Dunham. Hilda is survived by her nieces and nephew: Charlene Pilon (Peter), Deb Grouette (Harley), Mike Rogers (Joanne), and Kelly Rogers (John). Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Millie (Dunham) Rogers (Ron). Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425). A private family graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com.
