Obituary of Margaret Doreen Guthrie

With heavy hearts, the family of Marg Guthrie, wife of the late Clifford Guthrie, announce her passing on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 22, 1927, she was a daughter of the late James and Flora (Ross) McCullough. Marg will be missed by her children: Donnie, Carl (Cathy), Nancy Watson (Peter), Michael (Karen), Thomas, and Connie Dunham (John); eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters: Jean Brown and Connie McNulty; and her special friend, Linda Fox. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Ann Manning; and brothers: Donald, Ross, Leonard, and Joseph. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425). Visiting will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and will be immediately followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM, all from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel.
