Obituary of Sharon Aileen Stout

The family and friends of Sharon Stout lost an incredibly funny, smart, loving, fabulous woman from their lives on July 15, 2017. Sharon Aileen Stout (nee Nason) touched our hearts and our lives for just shy of 75 years. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Coleman) Nason. Sharon leaves behind her soulmate and best friend of 52 years, Buddy Stout; four children that loved her like crazy, Lisa, Chris, Shawna and Bethany; three often bragged about grandchildren, Krisanne, Jennie and Kevin; one fantastic great-grandson, James and a much loved "little brother", Gary Nason (Marie Anne). While Sharon’s immediate family will miss her terribly they realize that many others will miss her as well: extended family members, co-workers, friends, fellow sailors and bridge players, long time Hillcrest pals, her favourite crib partners and piles of surrogate sons and daughters. The family would like to send love and thanks for the heartfelt support from family and friends during Sharon’s illness. A special shout out for the remarkable care from the fantastic nurses and doctors at the Saint John Regional Hospital (5BNorth and 3BNorth Palliative Care Unit). Xoxo Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 476 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John where the funeral service will also take place on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church or the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue.
