Obituary of David James Crilley

It is with great sadness that the family of David J. Crilley, devoted husband of Winona (Pettie) Crilley, announces his passing, which occurred on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 14, 1937, he was a son of the late Flora and Robert Crilley. David was a good-hearted, caring man. His wife Winona was the most important person in his life. He loved spending time with her, especially watching sports together. They both loved horse racing, baseball and football. In addition to his loving wife Winona of 53 years, David will be missed by a sister, Laura Mills; nine nieces and nephews; as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents; and his siblings, Mabel, Mary, Donald and Johnny. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425) with visiting on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 2:30-4 and 6-8 pm. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 1:00 pm from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances made to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
