Obituary of Chantalle Marie Callaghan

It is with heavy hearts the family of Chantalle Marie Callaghan announce her passing at the Mill Cove Nursing Home on Monday, August 28, 2017. She was born in Saint John on July 3, 1988 to Brian Bourque and Michelle Callaghan (Steve). She loved music, singing karaoke and dancing to Justin Bieber. She was a fashionista at heart, and had a passion for getting dressed up, having her nails and make up done and especially loved flip flops. She enjoyed going on long drives and shopping trips, was a movie buff and loved bingo. In addition to her parents, Chantalle is survived by her brother Travis (Erica) Callaghan; maternal grandmother Kathy Sheehan (Greg); paternal grandfather Theophile Bourque; aunts, Bernice Tracey (Dennis) and Dianne Bosfet (Brian); uncles, Daniel Bourque and Paul Dickson; cousins: Christopher Tracey (Stephanie), Jennifer Tracey (Shayla), Tim Bosfet (Carissa and James), Tom Bosfet (Stephanie), Monica Dickson and Preston Dickson. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Wilfred Cote, paternal grandmother Velma Bourque, uncle Steven Dickson and paternal great grandmother and childhood best friend Marie Foote. Chantalle’s family would like to extend special thanks of appreciation to the staff of Mill Cove Nursing Home, especially the nurses at Cottage Cove. You truly were family to Chantalle and went above and beyond for her, your care and compassion will never be forgotten. Arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd., Saint John West, NB (634-7425). There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Saturday, September 2, 2017. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Chantalle may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
