Obituary of Paula Lou Whelpley

The death of Paula Lou Whelpley, formerly of Fredericton and Carters Point, occurred on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 27, 1957 in Saint John, she was a daughter to the late John and Ellen (Best) Whelpley. She is survived by her three sisters: Mary Arthurs, Martha Crabbe, Laura Mills and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents, Paula was predeceased by her sisters Nancy and Susan Whelpley. The family wishes to thank Joan Burt for over 20 years of love, care and companionship and to thank the Management and Staff of Gagetown Special Care Home for the excellent care they provided Paula for the past 5 years. A graveside service will be held at Harding’s Point Loyalist Cemetery on Monday September 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of donor’s choice.
