Obituary of Beatrice Evelyn Scott

It is with great sadness that the family of Beatrice "Bea" Scott of Saint John, wife of the late Don Scott announces her passing, which occurred on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 23, 1931 in Edmundston, she was the daughter of the late Bertram and Agnes (nee Murray) Ross. Bea is survived by her daughter, Barb Smith (Tom Rankin); son, Bert Scott (Jennifer); her only grandson, Michael Scott; brother, Everett Ross (Nydia); sister, Mary Chamberlain; sister-in-law, Shirley Fifield; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her brother, Chester Ross; sister-in-law, Suzanne Ross and brother-in-law, George Fifield. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held from Lancaster Baptist Church, 87 Church Avenue, West Saint John on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NB or a charity of the donor’s choice.
