Obituary of Tammy Corinne Grant

We are saddened to announce the death of Tammy Corinne Grant on October 1, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Craig, daughter Paige, mother-in-law Connie Grant (Ma), parents Robert and Edna French, "special" Aunt and Uncle Brenda and Theodore (Rocky) French, sister Melody, brother Robert (Ikey), several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many friends, neighbours and co-workers; also her precious kitten, Patches. Tammy was born on December 13, 1969 and prior to her illness, she had a long career in health care at Horizon Health, where she excelled at her skills as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Tammy loved to garden, do crafts, sew, cross-stitch, paint, outdoor activities, and decorating for any festive occasion. She was an avid bird-watcher and did amazing photography. She especially loved to travel to Ottawa to visit the "light of her life" Paige. Tammy’s family wish to thank Dr. Chris O’Brien and all the staff and volunteers at Bobby’s Hospice for their love and compassionate care, and to all who supported her in any way during her illness. Arrangements are in the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425). Tammy’s wishes are to be cremated and have visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 4 from 6-9 PM to celebrate her life. In Tammy’s memory, donations may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of donor’s choice.
