She graduated from Bathurst High School & was a long time resident of (Ketepec) Saint John. Prior to her marriage to Blair she worked at NBTel & MRAs. Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband Blair in March 2013, by infant granddaughter Lana (Oct. 13, 1984), and by 10 siblings - Lester, Laura, Kay, Florence, Ann, Vivian, Harold, Howard (Jack), Grant, and Clifton. Since January 2015, after a debilitating stroke, Irene was lovingly cared for by her extended family at Kennebec Manor. Blair & Irene were devoted members of St. Anne’s Church for many years & more recently of Church of the Resurrection, Grand Bay. A celebration of Irene's life will be held at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425), on Saturday November 18th.
