Obituary of Ivan Melbourne Chittick

It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our father, Ivan Melbourne Chittick, who died quietly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, the 13th of July, 2018. He was born in Saint John, NB, 85 years ago on July 23, 1932. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Geraldine "Jerry" Lorraine (nee Flynn), nine years ago. He is survived by his four children, sons Mark of Saint John, Michael of Saint John, daughter Lyn and husband Grant of Buckhorn, ON, and son Matthew and wife Carmel of Chilliwack, BC; numerous grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman- just waiting to get back out there. He was a Mason and a Shriner, his proudest achievement was serving of Potentate of BC and Yukon Luxor Shriners. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425). There will be a Celebration of Life from 2 to 4 pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
