Obituary of Eleanor Irene Hillman

Hillman, Eleanor Irene -- It is with appreciation for a life well-lived that the family of Eleanor I. Hillman, loving wife of Tyler D. Hillman, announces her passing which occurred on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on October 13, 1936, she was a daughter of the late George and Estelle (Bradshaw) Baird. In addition to her husband Tyler of 62 years, Eleanor will be missed by her children: Joy Richard, Jane Reicker (Ross) and Blake Hillman (Odie); grandchildren: Justin, David, Jonathan, Sarah, Allison and Jason; seven great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Robert Baird (Shirley) and Honey Walsh (the late Fred). In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by a brother, Stan Baird. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425). In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes, a private interment for family will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the NB Heart Centre.
