Obituary of Christopher Paul Parent

It is with devastation that we announce the passing of Chris on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home in Musquash. The place he grew up and the place he loved. Chris was born in Saint John, N.B. on October 3, 1976 to Gerard and Elaine (Gauthier) Parent. Chris is survived by his wife Michelle; daughter Melina and son Benjamin; Father Gerard Parent; sister Michelle (Jim) English; brother John (Carrie) Parent; nieces Jaimee and Rachel; nephews Bobby and Nick; in-laws Mike and Gloria Thibodeau; brother-in-law Michael; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention, but Chris loved them all. Family was one of the most important things to him. He was predeceased by his mother Elaine in 2013, who he missed dearly every day, as well as his grandparents Estelle Parent, Edith Doiron, Gerard Parent, Fred Jacquart and Clarence Doiron. Our hearts will be forever broken. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, N.B. (634-7425) with visitation on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from Our Lady of the Assumption Parish at 12:00 PM.
