With appreciation of a life well lived, the family of Robert Logan, loving husband to Pauline (Doiron) Logan, grieve for his passing which occurred on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born on November 26, 1928, he was a son to the late Robert and Ellen (Gregory) Logan. Bob was employed with NBTel for 35 years, holding several senior management positions, including General Plant Manager and Customer Service Manager, and at the time of his retirement in 1984, General Manager of Marketing. Bob was a member of the Union Club for over 20 years. He was an avid sailor, spending much of his free time on the water in his younger years. Bob enjoyed cruising and racing on the St. John River and was a past Commodore of the local Power and Sail Squadron of the RKYC. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pauline, their children: Greg (Nina) Logan of Grand Prairie, AB and Carolyn (John) Healy of St. George, NB, his grandchildren: Jeffery (Sarah) Buckley, Amy Ellis, Tyler (Kathleen) Logan, Sheena (Brett) Rauchman, Jason (Ashley) Logan, Andrew (Megan) Healy, Gregory (Becky) Healy and Sean Healy, along with several great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Bob is predeceased by his daughter Susan Buckley in 2013. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or to the Palliative Care Unit-Saint John Regional Hospital.
