Obituary of Walter Joseph Savoy

With a heavy heart, Leo Vautour announces the passing of his beloved spouse of 28 years, Walter Savoy. Born July 26, 1949 in Saint John, Walter was a son of the late Lawrence and Ida Dorothy "Dot" (Taylor) Savoy. Walter enjoyed being a Trooper with the Army. He loved his trout pond, fishing, camping, and respected all nature. In addition to his loving spouse, Leo, Walter will be missed by his brother, Billy (Diane); sisters-in-law, Rose Savoy and Carolyn Huckins (Paul); niece, Tricia Paul (Mark); and several good friends. He will also by sadly missed by their dog, Angel. Besides his parents, Walter was predeceased by a brother, Gordie. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425). In keeping with Walter’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to The Church Of The Good Shepherd would be appreciated by the family.
