Obituary of Reginald Edward Tremain

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Reginald "Reg" Edward Tremain announce his passing on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Carleton-Kirk Lodge Nursing Home. Born on January 3, 1940 in Belleisle Creek, NB, he was a son of the late William and Edith (Joynes) Tremain. Reg worked most of his life at the Saint John Oil Refinery as an Industrial Mechanic. Following retirement, and not one to be idle, he began his own small engine repair business. Reg loved to go boating and listening to country music, especially George Jones! Above all else, he was known to be as an easy going and generous man always willing to help others. He will be missed by all who knew him. Reg will be lovingly remembered by his children, Anthony (Tony) Tremain of Newmarket, ON and Tammy Tremain of Saint John; brother, William Tremain of BC; sister, June Tremain of Sussex, NB; cherished granddaughter, Madison; nephews, Tim and Brad; niece, Heather; as well as special friends, Carol Busson, Stan Frennette, Dr. Dan Scott, Norman Smith and Rosaire and Mina Thibodeau. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visitation on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 12PM – 2PM followed immediately by a funeral service at 2PM all from Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in Belleisle Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Reg, can be made to Diabetes Canada.
