Obituary of Cindy A. Darrah
It is with great sadness that the family of Cindy Darrah announces her unexpected passing in Halifax, NS. Born in Chipman, NB on April 3, 1958, she was the eldest daughter of the late Carrie Darrah and granddaughter of the late Almond (Allie) and Marie Darrah.
Cindy was well educated and chosen valedictorian of her high school graduating class. She then furthered her education at Dalhousie University. Cindy had a vast interest in current events and world views. No one won a debate with Cindy - She did her research! Cindy was a devoted mother to Sean. They went through life together as best friends. She loved children and became a wonderful caregiver to many over the years. She had a generous heart, always there for others. Cindy loved being surrounded by family and brought much joy and laughter to the many gatherings. She will be so sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
Cindy is survived by her only son Sean, sisters; Terry (Doug)Ells, Penny Gunn, Crissy (Stephen) Mullin, brothers; Peter (Sarah) Gunn, Raymond (Leigh Ann) Gunn, Tommy (Cindy) Gunn, her late mother’s spouse Ray Vince, as well as a large extended family.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506-849-2119). There will be no services at this time. Interment will take place in Chipman, NB at a later date when family and friends can gather. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
