My Dad, James Robert Gillies, drove in a car pool with John in the late sixties and early seventies. John and Harry Hoar were kind enough to allow both my brother and me to go along to school with them. I always liked Mr. Gow, as I called him. I am very sorry to hear about Mr. Gow. Please accept my sincere condolences on behalf of my father, Jim, my mother, Selena and myself.
