I was deeply saddened to learn of Wayne’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Wayne, William and I were close friends throughout our youths and teenage years growing up in Saint John’s North End. We enjoyed many adventures together from playing base ball at the old Shamrock grounds, skating at the Beaverbrook rink and St Peter’s Park, to wandering on the beach in the shipyard scrounging for bottles to sell. Many Saturday afternoons were spent trying to sneak into the Old Regent Theatre to watch the latest Flix on the big screen or wandering out to Lily Lake and the Arches for a swim. These were good times shared with a great guy. Rest In Peace my friend.
