Obituary of Wayne Douglas Brown

It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne D. Brown announces his passing, which occurred at Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Born in Saint John on November 19, 1950, he was a son of the late Harry and Doris (Skinner) Brown.

Wayne is survived by his children, Mark Brown (Krysta Burke), Christian Brown, Phil Fairbrother; sisters, Linda and Penny (Brown) Stevenson; half-brother, Donald Brown; grandchildren, Hillary Brown-Boudreau, Marcus Monks, Jazmin Brown, Shanice Brown, Jaxon Fairbrother; great-grandson, Chase and other great-grandchildren; nephew, Reed Jacobs; niece, Dory Jacobs; the mother of his son, Leola Roussel; as well as several nieces, nephews, half-siblings and in-laws.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Brown; brother, William Brown; half-brothers, Reed and Ronald Jones.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM from The Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
