Joey would have a big smile for me and Vernon every time we came in to Monarch Hall. Vernon would be there to see his wife and I was his caregiver. Joey loved to see Vernon show up each day. Overtime, it was our highlight of the day to come in and be greeted by Joey. I was happy that Vernon and I could be by his bedside before he left on the next of his journey. Rest easy, sweet Joey. You will be missed.

My first memory, Of Joe, many years ago, when he worked at laundry mat, on Prince Edward Street. at the time, had no ideal, our relation, he was always so nice, and nice to my little kids at the time, knew him, for months, just as this nice guy, gave me change for washer and dryer, till, the day came, went to a funeral, Joe, was there, said , I know you, right then, were introduced as first cousins, his dad, Billy, and my mom Rosie. were brother and sister, Really sad, This is how one meets their family members. this is my memory ,Rest In Peace. Say hi, to my mom, for me,

I, as well, would see Joe in Monarch Hall each day as I visited my mom. Once he got to know me, he'd always smile and wave from the lobby. Each time I took my mom on a little trip through the hallway, I'd look forward to stopping and spending a little time with him. He could always make me smile and at times, brought out a good laugh. A genuine soul. I would love to have known him before our meeting at Monarch. RIP Joe. Will miss you.

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing! I will miss his huge smile every time I went to visit my Mom at Monarch, He normally was in the front lobby eagerly pointing me in the direction of where Mom was sitting sleeping. We always waved good bye, he was such a sweetie. RIP Jojo! Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends
