We are very sorry to hear this news and offer our sincerest condolences to Gail, Heather and the whole family.
Our professional collaborations started nearly 20 years ago, and it was always such a pleasure going to visit him and Fiona in their home office on the Eliot Road. They were always so kind and hospitable, and took to our (then) toddler as if he was their own grandson.
In passing this sad news to others in the marine industry, those who did not know him have remarked how often they heard his name spoken of in positive terms. We are doing the same today in our offices, taking note of all ways his life and work has been of such help to us. We will never forget him.
Tim Wetzel
on behalf of my family (Beth, Sam and Zac)
and Poseidon Marine (Deon, Aaron, John, Stephen, Lois, Marsha, Peter, Emma, Jordan, Angela, and James)

Very sorry to hear of Don's passing. We worked together on many projects, spanning decades, and came out of each job still the best of friends. Don was always ready to roll up his sleeves to get into the nitty gritty of problem solving, and he was our constant "go to" guy for all the nav arch issues. They just don't make them like that any more.

This is sad news for me as I worked on many marine related projects with Don during our working years. I got to know Don and Fiona and I can honestly say that they were the most pleasant couple that a person could be with.
Sue and I wish to express our sincere condolences to the family.
